When you take your backpack on all of your adventures, it's naturally to get a little dirty. Here's how to keep your Hauter Water Bag fresh and clean!
Backpack Cleaning Guide
Materials:
- Warm water
- Dish soap
- Clean toothbrush
Instructions:
- Mix together warm water and a drop of dish soap in a container.
- Take the clean toothbrush and swirl around in the soapy solution thoroughly.
- Spot treat any dirt, marks, or scuffs by scrubbing in gentle circular motions with the soapy toothbrush.
- Wipe dry with a clean cloth and let air dry.
- Repeat process if necessary.

Hydration Bladder Cleaning Guide
Materials:
- Hot/warm water
- Dish soap
- Clean toothbrush
Instructions:
- Detach mouthpiece and hose from the water bladder.
- Separate the hard black piece from the rubber outer piece on the mouthpiece.
- Allow both pieces to soak in a container with hot water with a drop of dish soap.
- While the mouthpiece is soaking, wash the water bladder by rinsing it with warm water in the sink.
- Add a drop of dish soap to the water bladder and fill halfway with warm water.
- Seal the water bladder shut and shake the soapy solution inside.
- Dump out the soapy solution and rinse the bladder very thoroughly with warm water. Set aside to air dry.
- Take the detached hydration hose and rinse with warm water. Set aside to air dry.
- After the mouthpiece has soaked for 10 - 15 minutes, take the pieces out of the soapy solution.
- With a clean toothbrush, scrub each piece and rinse with warm water. Set aside to air dry.
